One Time KIDS Class

One time class to learn the basics of throwing. The child helps to thoroughly clean their wheel and area at the end of class. We finish and glaze the piece and you pick it up approx 3 weeks later. Sometimes kids want to explore fun, creative activities that can turn into lifelong passions. Sometimes young teens want to be involved in activities that their schools might not offer. Sometimes parents just need a break. That’s where Blue Skies comes in. Introductory workshops are one-time classes lasting 1.5 hours. This is a great way for individuals and groups to learn the basics of pottery while also getting a feel for the wheel in a casual, relaxed environment. You can choose to keep 1 finished piece from this class for a fee of $15 per piece, however, due to the drying, firing, and glazing process, your piece will be finished by our staff and available for pickup approximately 3 weeks after your course. All tools will be included for this course. This is a great activity to do in groups! We ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early. Please note: Children must be at least 9 years old to sign up for the children’s course. Any children 8 years or younger are welcome to sign up with an adult for our Grown-Up and Me course.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of your first class for a full refund. 24 hours is required to reschedule.
